Mike Carmont
Dr. Michael Carmont is a Board Member of BOSTAA and Sessional Secretary of EFOST.
He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and Northern General Hospital, Sheffield. He has a specialist interest in sports injuries of the knee, foot and ankle with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and the management of Achilles tendon rupture being his specialist areas of research. He also has an interest in sports resuscitation, is a Course Director and instructs on sports resuscitation courses. He provides pitchside care for numerous sports mainly rugby league, football, triathlon, gymnastics and handball. He is also one of the organizing committee of the World Sports Trauma Congress, London 17-20th October 2012.
