Abstract submission deadline: 30 June 2012 (12:00 CET) - deadline extended until 15 July 2012.
Abstract submission is now closed. Abstract review is currently underway.
SUBMISSION MODULE
Abstract submission is only possible through the online abstract submission module on the eswiconference.org website. Abstracts submitted by post, fax or email will NOT be accepted. The online abstract submission module will NOT be available after 15 May 2011, 12:00 Central European Time (CET).
TOPIC
There are 13 topics: Ankle, Arthroscopy, Basic Sciences, Elbow, Foot, Hand, Hip, Knee, Lower Limb, Paediatric, Shoulder, Spine and upper Limb. Ensure that you select the topic which BEST describes the content of your abstract. Categories are used for reviewing and indexing purposes. Please note that the Scientific and Programme and Abstract Committees reserve the right to reassign submission to a different topic.
ABSTRACT TITLE
The title is limited to 150 characters including spaces and should be brief and relevant. Special characters should NOT be used in your title but spelt out instead (e.g. ß à beta; . à omega). Only standard abbreviations and generic drug names should be used in the title.
AUTHORS
Authors and/or study groups can be listed. Only one institution can be entered for each author via the online submission pages. For authors with multiple affiliations, please send an email to info@wstc2012.com indicating the full author listing.
ABSTRACT BODY
Structure: the abstract, when applicable, to include aims, methods, results and discussion/conclusion.
Font size and style: will be automatically configured by the system.
Tables: will be accepted in the submission field and count towards the character limit. The character deduction for tables is not fixed and will be generated by the character count shown below the submission field. Graphs, figures and photographs are NOT allowed.
The length: of the abstract is limited to a maximum of 250 words. Only the abstract body and any inserted tables count towards the character limit. The character count displayed beneath the submission field is final and undisputable.
Abbreviations: no abbreviations should be used unless fully defined at first use
Drug names: Only approved and generic (non-propriety) drug names should be used.
Do NOT enter the title, authors, or grant information into the abstract text submission field and exclude any references from the abstract body.
SAVE OR SUBMIT
On submitting your abstract, you have the option to save your abstract and edit at a later date. When you are satisfied your abstract is complete, login and click Submit. No changes are permitted once your abstract has been submitted.
